A michievous girl who is fond of stealing a wolf’s citrus fruits, is finally caught by the wolf. The wolf goes to fetch his friend to join in the feast. The girl’s mother rescues her, and encounters the wolf and his friends on the way back, but the girl is well hidden. The wolf’s friends find a banana trunk in the place of the prey and beat up their host.

A self-righteous old man decides that until he could find a young man, that by his judgement, was righteous and just, he would not allow anyone to marry his daughter. One day he meets a young man whom he judges to be righteous and just. What he does not know is that this young man is Christ. Christ takes him to a mysterious house which contains the lives of people, in the form of burning candles. When the old man realizes that his candle is about to burn out, he pleads with the young man to exchange his with another, longer candle, thus exposing his egoism.

A hunter kills a little bird, that begins to give him instructions on how to prepare it for eating. Once eaten, the bird tells the man how to position himself for sleeping, with his backside up in the air. The bird then shoots out from his back passage, flying way, leaving the man dead, with all his entrails ripped apart.

BLE I BLAN Blue is white

A couple of labourers work in the forest. The wife likes to collect all sorts of animals from the forest which she tames and raises at home. Her husband warns her that one day these animals could pose a danger to their children. One day they go to the forest to work as usual, the mother warning her children not to play near the animals’ enclosure. While playing, the children’s ball fall into the enclosure and they open the gate to get it back. One of the animals come out and start chasing them. They manage to catch it by its tail, but it goes round and round trying to get at them. They start to sing for help until their parents hear them and come to their rescue.

An old hunter shoots a bird without knowing that it is god’s bird. As he sits down to remove the bird’s feathers, it begins to sing, giving him instructions about how to prepare it to cook. The old man is surprised but doesn’t think to question the bird. As he goes through the process of preparing the bird for dinner, it guides him through song. In the end, the bird is resuscitated and the old man is left with just rice to eat.

KOULEV SOGNEN The pet snake

A child adopts a baby snake and raises it. One day the parents are working in the forest when they hear the child singing. The mother finds this strange and says that the snake must be swallowing their child. They argue about it until finally they rush back home, in time to cut off the snake’s tail and remove their child from its belly.

A girl takes her younger sister to fetch wood in the forest, against her mother’s advice. The younger sister falls into a hole and is swallowed by a snake. The elder sister sings to the younger sister, who sings back that her parents should bring cow’s blood for her release. The elder sister runs back and fetches her parents with the cow’s blood, and the younger sister is released.

BAYAYA The monster sister

A wife warns her husband against killing whatever animal he finds in the forest. One day he kills a big bird and takes it home. He cautions his two daughters against touching it, but one daughter cuts off its head and cooks it. Though dead, the bird sings throughout the process. When the daughter eats the cooked bird, she turns into a monster bird and starts killing all the animals in the yard, then turns on her sister. The sister runs for life, singing about the danger she is in. The parents finally hear her and come down from the forest to investigate.
