Summary :

A young man goes courting and pretends that he doesn’t eat much. When he get home, he feels hungry during the night. He remembers seeing breadfruit in a tree at his fiancee’s place, so he goes back there and climbs the breadfruit tree. When he is harvesting the breadfruit, the neighbours hear and come to investigate, alerting his fiancee’s father as well. The young man falls from the tree and his fiancee breaks up with him. He also acquires the nickname of John the Breadfruit from that day on.
